Computer Science & Engineering Laboratory Information

The CSE department has nine well-equipped computer labs with 145 computer systems; Laboratories have been setup with a good ventilation, better ambience and adequate lighting to make students to work in a conducive environment. First Aid kits and Fire Extinguishers are available in all the laboratories.

Data Structures and Algorithms Lab

Data Structures and Algorithms Lab provides the requisite environment for design and analysis of algorithms for solving complex problems using simple linear and non-linear data structures. Students gain practical knowledge by writing and executing programs in C/C++ using various data structures and implementing algorithm principles. It strengthens the ability of the students to identify and apply the suitable data structure for the given problem. It enables them to gain knowledge in practical applications of data structures.

Object Oriented Programming Lab

Java Lab helps students to learn Java Programming step by step. The Java Programming Language is a general-purpose, concurrent, strongly typed, class-based object-oriented language. The students explore the features of object-oriented programming in JAVA. Its features and flexibility have made it still the leading choice for most of the areas of application, especially in the software development environment.

Database Management System Lab

Database Management System Lab provides a sound foundation in database concepts, technologies and practices. The requirement of modern days is to have an automated system that manages, modifies and updates data accurately. This is achieved by a DBMS in robust, correct and non-redundant way. DBMS lab aims at practicing and achieving by using various software’s such as SQL, ORACLE, and MS – Access etc, which are used by the students to execute their database related laboratory problems, assignments and projects.

Advance Database and Big Data Lab

Big Data & Analytics Lab is an interdisciplinary laboratory that focuses on large-scale data analytics problems that arise in different application domains and disciplines. BDA Lab educates students in all aspects of large and distributed information systems. It focuses on next-generation data management and mining issues on Big data and supports in the creation and evolution of more adaptive, robust and effective data driven decision making process for different real-time applications.

Programming Lab

A good basic knowledge is a strong foundation for every aspect. Programming Laboratory provides an environment for learning and better understanding of the basic concepts and constructs of computer programming. The students will be able to enhance their analysing and problem-solving skills and use the same for writing programs in C.

Networks Lab

Networking is a key area in the field of computers that deals with the physical connectivity of computers which is co-ordinated and monitored by a combination of special hardware’s and software’s. Network lab provides a platform where students understand the working principle of various communication protocols, routing algorithms and data transfer between machines. The students explore data transmission and security with the help of Network Simulator.

Research & Project Lab

Research & Project Lab contribute enhancing research knowledge towards contemporary areas. Develop critical and quantitative thinking, ability to work together, to express themselves coherently and logically.

Digital Electronics Lab

Digital Electronics laboratory provides a platform to design and implement the circuits to gain knowledge on performance of the circuit and its application. Students gain practical knowledge of data representation and digital logic circuits used in the computer system. The students explore general concepts in digital logic design, their use in combinational and sequential logic circuit design. The students also learn the basic architecture of processing, memory and I/O organization in a computer system.

CCNA Lab

CCNA is a certified course by CISCO Networking Academy. It helps the students to get certification in the Networking course which provides them better job opportunities in the networking domain. Packet Tracer, a cross-platform visual simulation tool designed by Cisco Systems allows users to simulate the configuration of Cisco Routers and Switches using a simulated command line interface.
