EXAMINATION SECTION

The Office of the Dean Examination is responsible for preparation, scheduling, and conduct of the Tests and Semester End Examination for all the programs offered by the institute. It facilitates the central valuation of answer scripts and the timely publication of Results. The other responsibilities are issuing of Grade cards, Transcript Certificate and recommends for issuing of Provisional Degree Certificate as and when candidates become eligible to receive the same. The office of the Dean Examination is also responsible for the following.

  • Issue of Duplicate Grade Cards.
  • Name corrections in Grade Cards.
  • Replacing of Lost and Damaged Grade Cards.
  • Aiding the students for sending the documents to WES.
  • CGPA conversion Certificate.
  • Preparation for issuing of Degree Certificates.
  • Preparation of Rank List / List of Gold Medallists.
  • Facilitating Revaluation Processes.
  • Arranging for Pre and Post Auditing of Question Papers and Answer Booklets by both internal and external subject experts.

Issue of Duplicate Grade Cards

Provision is available to issue duplicate marks cards to candidates in case where the marks cards are lost or mutilated. Following steps need to be followed while candidates apply for duplicatemarks card.

  • The candidate is required to lodge a complaint to local police station of the area where it was lost and submit the original copy of acknowledgement of complaint.
  • An affidavit on Rs.20 stamp paper indicating the details, such as, USN, Month & Year of passing, Course, Branch, college and how the original marks cards were lost.Affidavit need to be duly signed by the Notary.
  • Duplicate marks card fee as per the guidelines of the university.
  • Photocopy of the lost marks card/s.
  • Application for the duplicate marks card.

Issue of Transcript:

Candidate can apply for Transcript or can make a request to send Transcript to WES. Candidates need to submit following documents

  • Application/Request Letter.
  • Photocopy of all the Grade cards if a candidate apply in person OR scanned copy of all the Grade cards if a candidate apply through ONLINE.
  • Candidate need to pay required fee through ONLINE and attach the copy of the same along with the application

The candidates can apply for transcript inperson or send the necessary documents to dean (examination) through online via email ssitre@gmail.com. Depending on academictime period it may take 10 t0 15 days to prepare transcripts.

Class Declaration:

A candidate who has scored CGPA of 7.75 and above shall be declared as First Class with Distinction.

A candidate who has scored CGPA above or equal to 6.75 and below 7.75 shall be declared as First Class.

A candidate who has scored CGPA above or equal to 5.75 and below 6.75 shall be declared as Second Class.

CGPA Conversion:

If a candidate requires percentage marks scored for any purpose, conversion can be made using the below formula.

Percentage = (CGPA Scored – 0.75) X 10

Procedure to Apply for PDC:

  • Collect Application from Principal Office.
  • Submit the filled application to Dean (Exam) office along with Xerox copies of all marks cards
  • NO DUES Certificate is mandatory.
  • Pay required fees through ON-LINE by visiting SSAHE website www.sahe.in and selecting payment option by providing your USN.
  • Collect PDC from Principal Office – Exam section or from SSAHE directly.
