Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Celonis and Process Mining Technology

Overview

Celonis Centre of Excellence, SSIT Department of Information Science & Engineering and Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering is established to develop career of budding engineers in the latest technology, students certified in process mining could get placed in future in more number.

Objective

Celonis process mining is the bridge between data science, which includes algorithms, machine learning, data mining, and predictive analytics, and process science, which covers operations management and research, business process improvement and management, process automation and workflow management, and optimization.

The global process mining software market was valued at USD 373.9 million in 2021 and is expected to grow at a CAGR of 49.0%during the forecast period it may go upto USD 11,096.7 million by 2030.

The mining software market is in high demand due to the growing need to improve enterprises audits and compliances processes. Celonis strongly believes that there is a huge need for another, data-driven approach, which is precisely the goal of the Process Mining technology.

• Leverage our learning platform to track student success and connect with educators and Process Mining experts.
• Local student chapter including annual project competitions, workforce development programs and others.
• Point students to career building resources created with employers for our alumni.
• Students will participate in Process Mining Hack-A-Thon
• Students will be given industry mentorships during Hack-A-Thons
• Internships and Job Placements whenever there is an opportunity

• The SSIT entered into MoU with Celonis on 23rdNov 2022.
• “Train the Trainers” was conducted to as aFDP for 14 faculties on 10th FEB 2023 in online mode.
• Two Days workshop on “Process Mining” was conducted on 24th and 25th April 2023 to 112 student’s offline mode.
